Product Warranty Agreement
*2 Year / 30,000 Mile Nationwide Parts and Labor Warranty
Buyer acknowledges and agrees they must complete and return their activation form no later than 15 days from the date of receipt of remanufactured unit. If not completed and returned within 15 day, then buyer acknowledges and agrees warranty will be void. Buyer agrees that is necessary to send core (old transmission unit) with torque converter to Boss Transmissions, LLC, in order to validate warranty. Buyer acknowledges and agrees they must schedule the pickup of core unit with Boss Transmissions, LLC within 15 days from the date of receipt of remanufactured unit. Actual core unit must be delivered to Boss Transmissions location no later than 30 days from the date of receipt of remanufactured unit. If core unit not scheduled to be picked up for delivery to Boss Transmissions, LLC, within 15 days, then buyer acknowledges and agrees warranty will be void.
Buyer acknowledges that all warranty repairs will be determined on a case by case basis. The buyer acknowledges and agrees that a product in need of warranty repair MUST be returned to BOSS Transmissions' facility in order to determine if warranty repair is necessary due to defects in materials or workmanship, by BOSS Transmissions. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
In the event that warranty repair is necessary due to defects in materials or workmanship of BOSS Transmissions product, then BOSS Transmissions will repair/exchange the faulty unit at no additional cost to the buyer. Buyer acknowledges additional shipping time will be required.
BOSS Transmissions will not warranty a faulty product if caused by the following: 1) over-revving (2) accident, abuse, or an operation for which it was not designed, or alteration of the unit either with drive train or suspension, not in compliance with original manufacturer's specifications (3) damaged; inefficient parts, components, or accessories not included in the sale (4) improper installation (5) the installation of non-compatible ATF -automatic transmission fluid (6) Inefficiently flushed cooler lines (7) Incorrect vehicle information provided by buyer.
In the event that the above listed items are the result of product in need of repair, buyer agrees repair costs will then become the sole responsibility of the buyer, including incurred shipping costs to and from BOSS Transmissions facility.
Buyer specifically acknowledges that proper maintenance procedures which include, but are not limited to the following: changing or calibrating as applicable, the filter, lubricant, electronic components, etc., must be performed as recommended by the original manufacturer or the warranty will be void. Buyer agrees BOSS Transmissions, LLC will not assume any responsibility for the cost of this routine maintenance.
Buyer specifically agrees that BOSS Transmissions will not be responsible for the following: (1) incidental or consequential damages (2) lost profits, sales or income (3) injury to person or property (4) oil, antifreeze, fluids or other substances (5) towing charges (6) lift, dock or storage fees (7) telephone calls (8) freight (9) substitute transportation, lodging, etc. (10) unauthorized repairs.
*Labor Rates and Parts Coverage
Buyer acknowledges and agrees parts and labor warranty term are for 2 years / 30,000 miles (whichever comes first)
Transmission units and torque converters installed by Independent Repair Shops and Fleets will be compensated at Current Motor or All Data customer pay time. Not to exceed $50.00 per flat rate hour, not to exceed $600 total.
Transmission units and torque converters installed by Vehicle Owner will be compensated at Current Motor or All Data customer pay time. To be paid at $25.00 per flat rate hour, not to exceed $300.00 total.
Buyer agrees diagnostic time will only be covered if instructed by Boss Transmissions, LLC authorized warranty representative.
Remanufactured transmissions, components or parts found to be defective must be returned to Boss Transmissions, LLC for failure analysis or claim will be denied.
Any remanufactured transmissions, components, or repair parts must be submitted with appropriate repair estimate from a licensed repair facility/ repair technician and warranty authorization number to insure payment.
Please retain a copy of the paperwork and authorization for future reference. Request labor estimates will be at the discretion of Boss Transmissions, and must be provided upon request to receive compensation. Buyer acknowledges and agrees if proper documentation is not provided, then warranty claim will be void.
All parts and labor payments are subject to approval upon inspection of the remanufactured transmission, component, or parts by Remanufacturer.
Parts deemed necessary for repair by Boss Transmissions, will be compensated at technician cost, (not retail costs). Requests for part purchase receipts will be at the discretion of Boss Transmissions, and must be provided upon request to receive compensation. Buyer acknowledges and agrees if proper documentation is not provided then warranty claim will void.
BOSS Transmissions Parts & Labor warranty will end on the date of expiration from the original purchase date, or when vehicle reaches warranty mileage limit, (whichever comes first). The buyer acknowledges and agrees the buyer shall be responsible for all defects, thereafter, regardless of cause. BOSS Transmissions, LLC warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts nor the exclusion or limiting of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary, state to state.
Benefits, compensation, or remedies are not available under above listed warranty specifications while invoice or payment liability is outstanding. Buyer agrees warranty is void under this specific circumstance.
Buyer acknowledges and agrees warranty is NON-TRANSFERABLE.
Buyer and seller agree the seller's price is based upon this limited warranty. The buyer acknowledges and agrees to the limitations and conditions of this warranty.
Product Warranty Agreement
*No Return Policy:
Buyer acknowledges there is a NO RETURN policy for a BOSS Transmission purchase. All transmissions are custom-built, to buyer specifications and cannot be resold. Buyer agrees that product cannot be returned, once purchase by buyer has been made.
*Exchange/Cancellation Policy:
The buyer acknowledges that an installed, but faulty, transmission can be exchanged for the same item but cannot be returned for a refund.
Non-BOSS Transmissions products are sold by BOSS Transmissions "as is."
(The buyer must consult the manufacturer for warranty terms and conditions. It will in no way the responsibility of BOSS Transmissions, or its representatives.)
BOSS Transmissions does accept cancellations; all cancellations must be made within a 24 hour period from the time of purchase. Any cancellation made after the 24 hour period will be charged a $25 fee. NO EXCEPTIONS!
*Refusal Policy:
The buyer acknowledges that refusal of product does not release you from payment liability. Payment liability is released ONLY if a written and signed verification is provided by a BOSS Transmissions, LLC Order Department representative. If an order is refused without written permission from BOSS Transmissions, LLC, then buyer acknowledges they will be held liable for the total order amount and the buyer will be charged for additional freight fees for the return trip of the original place of shipping.
*Policy for a Damaged Product:
All Products are shipped directly from our Houston, Texas facility. If there is damage to your order you must accept the product and contact us within 24 hours of receipt. We will diligently work to resolve the matter, or exchange the purchased unit, within a timely manner. In the event that an exchange is necessary, the buyer acknowledges additional shipping time will be required, but additional shipping charges will be at no cost to the buyer.
*Policy Should Buyer Receive the Wrong Product:
All orders are checked prior to shipment, although if the wrong item is shipped, please contact our facility no later than 24 hours of receiving the product, in order to receive the correct item purchased. Buyer acknowledges additional shipping time will be required, but additional shipping charges for correct product will be at no cost to the buyer. Buyer acknowledges that return of incorrect product will be required, but return shipment charges of incorrect product will be at no cost to the buyer.
*Delivery Guideline Policy:
The transit time of 3-7 business days is an estimated time of delivery. The buyer acknowledges that additional shipping time may be required, based upon ability to locate specific parts or cores required to fill your order. Should additional time be required, you will be notified within the 3-7 business days, from the date of purchase. In the event additional time is required, the buyer acknowledges this does not release the buyer from payment liability. Installation adjustments will be the responsibility of the buyer, and will in no way become the responsibility of BOSS Transmissions, or its representatives.
